Now, we’re not sure how these bunk beds actually work as a sleeping arrangement, but we hear that lots of people have been willing to give them a try, including the suite’s inaugural guest, John Mayer (why are we not surprised?). Hopefully everyone hosed off afterwards in the large bathroom with just-see-through glass walls.
Apart from the master bedroom, the suite has a huge living room (also with a mirrored ceiling), fully stocked wet bar, cushy white leather sectional, a mounted ceramic bull’s head, a 50-inch plasma TV, and an entertainment system that will keep you rocking until the small hours. The other bedroom has a king-size bed and full bath as well where the bathing area is also enclosed by glass walls that also function as insulation if you want to make your boudoir into a steam room.
We can’t even begin to do justice to the room’s décor, so we’ll let this quick video we made do all the talking, and you can also take a look at our handy photo gallery to get a feel for yourself.
Rates at the Andaz start at $189 in May, but if you want to book the Star Suite, you better be ready to drop a whopping $2,500-4,000 a night. That's a lot of singles to stuff in a g-string...
