We called at 10:30am on Saturday morning and were told that the earliest they could seat our party of four was 10:15pm. However, we could try to walk-in or we could sit at the bar. With four people, bar seating wasn't quite do-able but we had our party put in our name at the restaurant at 7pm. The wait? An hour and a half.
But guess what? We waited it out. We ordered wine from the bar and the hostess told us we could sit and wait in the lobby, which is usually reserved for hotel guests. Not everyone was extended this invitation and so the crowd around the hostess station was a bit testy. Plus the bar area was very noisy.
But if you are a hotel guest, you should make a reservation with the concierge as you will have "preferential status" and the hotel can honor all reasonable reservations requests.
As for the food, most everything on the menu was designed to be eaten family style so be prepared to share with your dining companions. We can absolutely recommend the sheep's milk ricotta which is just as good as everyone says it is. Just make sure you have them bring you extra toasted bread. You won't want any of it to go to waste.
Our party also sampled the lamb meatball sliders, marinated beets with pistachio pesto and gorgonzola, the halibut special in a Sicilian marmalade, spaghetti with speck and rigatoni in a ragu sauce. For desert, we indulged in a banana walnut bread pie. Considering we walked out of the place fat and happy and slightly tipsy, we'd say this was a very good meal. So long as you either make a rezzie or if you can handle the wait.
