We know that any Soho House property is an instant celebrity-magnet, but luckily London's newish Dean Street Townhouse has managed to stay quainter, quieter, and —believe or not—cheaper.

And yet, while having breakfast one morning in the restaurant attached to the hotel, we absent-mindedly let our eyes run over the classic art upon the walls, until it hit upon this curious quote. Mystical and somewhat inspiring as it was, we could barely focus on anything but to whom the wise words were attributed. According to the Dean Street Townhouse, it comes from the mouth of the infamous Lindsay Lohan.

Let's take a closer look, shall we?...

Now, we don't doubt that La Lohan has said a great many things while throwing a few drinks back at any of the Soho House properties, but here we think they are trying to put on over on us. The Colony Room doesn't even exist anymore, since it's now the site of the Dean Street Townhouse. Plus, there is no way that words like "liturgy and mundane" could be uttered by Lohan with correct use, in the same sentence, while at a Soho House. Here is the text:

Famous Things Said in the 'Colony Room:'

'the path to a genuine
Spiritual liturgy for the
21st Century will
Begin with uncovering
a sense of the sacred in
the everyday, a sense of
God in the mundane.'
-Lindsay Lohan.

What do you think? Did Lindsay say this or is it a cutesy joke artwork? Either way, it sure put a quizzical expression on our face.
