The Chatwal New York Reveals Bathrooms, But When Will It Ever Open?
Here in New York, spring has most definitely sprung. The sun is shining, flowers are budding, birds are chirping ... But still no word on when The Chatwal New York will open. The latest ETA we have from Chatwal H.Q. is still "Spring 2010," though, so it has to be close. Right? We know that high-end hotels take time to perfect, but now that Trump SoHo is here (opening tomorrow!), we're ready for the next place to wow us.
In the meantime, we'll have to make do with a sneak peek at The Chatwal's bathrooms, via the photos the hotel just published on its Facebook page.
There are three color schemes that will run through the hotel—burgundy, blue, and chartreuse, which you can see here. The suede walls in the bedrooms (yes, suede walls) will feature complementary shades for each.
The tinted mirrored certainly helps to maximize space in the bathrooms, although we're not sure yet what each shade will do for our skin tone. (Do you know your colors? Are you a 'spring'?)
