Earlier today we mentioned that several of America's budget brand hotels were getting some sweet upgrades, including the Red Roof Inn which has put new rain-flow shower heads in their bathrooms.
But aside from a gentle water massage in the mornings, you may also want to stay at Red Roof Inn because from now through April 15, rooms only cost one cent!
The one-cent promotion kicked off on April Fool's but it's no joke. All participating Red Roofs are offering one room per day for one cent. To book a penny room, you must do it through the Red Roof Inn website and the rooms go up for grabs each day at noon EST.
With just one room a day at one cent, your chances are small but not impossible for getting this insane deal. Check out this thread of people who still were able to book penny rooms. And if you don't get one today, you can always try again tomorrow.
Just remember, if you do nab the one cent room rate, there are still taxes and fees you have to factor in. Still, we'd be surprised if this stay went over $20.
