Andaz Fifth Avenue to Open August 1 at $295 a Night

The long wait for Andaz Fifth Avenue's opening date is over...but you will have to wait until August 1 before you can actually sleep there.

A tipster let us know on Friday that the hotel would be opening on this first day of August and when we scurried over to the hotel's website today, that is indeed what we saw on the homepage.

Room rates for August 1 start at $295 for an Andaz King room which is 322-sq.ft and includes views overlooking a "landscaped courtyard." The room rate also includes non-alcoholic mini-bar drinks and snacks (which is what we love about Andaz), wireless internet, a Geneva sound system with iPod dock and C.O. Bigelow toiletries in the bathrooms.
