If we didn't know better, from all the hotel stalking tracking we do, we'd think we got punked. A couple of weeks ago, we mean. On April 1st—the day that the Cassa Hotel and Residences was aiming to open. Now, that didn't happen, of course, but somehow we don't think it's a joke.
Cassa H.Q. is being pretty quiet about what's going on with the Midtown property, so we assume we can file this under the catchall "construction delays" and hope for the best. The Scene Advisor website has April 26 down as the opening date for Cassa but we don't know where this intel came from, and were told by the PR reps only that there is no news at this time.
So, what gives? Have you heard anything? Got the dirt on the new opening date, or anything other exciting scoop on this mysterious hotel? Do share...
