The standouts, however, were the Tuna Dynamite with lump crab, tuna, sushi rice, red chili aioli, yuzu, and eel reduction ($14), and the innovative Sushi Pizza with ahi tuna, crab, avocado, celery leaf, julienne cucumber and mascarpone cheese with wasabi, all on a crust with rice baked in for extra crunch ($14).
We also might or might not have noshed on desserts like Simon’s signature “Junk Food Platter” ($18), and “brown bag apple pie” with shortbread crust and buttermilk ice cream ($9).
Our other favorite feature was the groovy water glasses made from recycled wine bottles, with divots on the bottom and everything.
L.A. Market serves breakfast from 6:30 am – 10:00 am, lunch from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, and dinner from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm daily.
