We thought we'd have to wait till April to check out Kimpton's Hotel Palomar Chicago, but the hotel moved up its official opening to March 24.
That gives you about two weeks till you can rest your head at the art-themed hotel. But you can book your stay there now on the Hotel Palomar's website. And don't fret; we checked it out and found that rooms are available for opening night. Rates start at $119 for the night.
Also making its debut on March 24 is the River North hotel's restaurant, Sable Kitchen & Bar, a gastro-lounge serving cocktails and American small plates. The restaurant will be helmed by Heather Terhune. She's best known as the former top chef at the Atwood Cafe in Hotel Burnham, one of Kimpton's other three properties in Chicago.
