Has Fashion 26 Been Delayed?

Hotel rumor time! One of the biggest reasons for opening delays is simply picking an opening date that just isn’t feasible when you factor in construction and the tangled ball of red tape that goes with it. But according to one commenter, the delays at Fashion 26 have more to do with disorganized management.
We’re going to call this a rumor for now, but let us know if you've heard anything to dispute or corroborate what TLipton told us. We haven’t heard about any delays since the hotel announced that April 15 was the day—and based on the hotel’s Facebook page, the preparation looks all systems go. There you can see a pre-opening look at the front desk, and staffers being fitted for their hotel uniforms. (Just like ours!)
Meanwhile over at the Wyndham website for Fashion 26, there are details for the Fashion Insider Package, which from $299 per night includes a Deluxe King room with breakfast, a free in-room movie, a “special fashion-themed turndown amenity,” a fashion magazine and tote bag, plus insider tips on the best shopping in town.
Then for budding fashion addicts, there’s The Little Fashionista Package. This one comes with designer cupcakes, hot cocoa, kettlecorn, nail polish, a copy of Teen Vogue, and a free in-room movie. Better tell your little fashionista to start saving her allowance—it starts at $317 a night.
