Ah yes, The Dorchester. Famous spot of celebrity breakdowns, divine tea service, and even a Sex and the City package, but it's always important to remember that at the end of the day, it's still just another expensive hotel in London.

We recently meandered around the place, and amongst all of the decadence and splashes of art nouveau, we were most taken with the proper green-suited doormen, who have no doubt seen their share of notorious guests and illustrious arrivals. Oh, the stories these men must have—but then, they'd never tell. The Dorchester Collection is a we-don't-kiss-and-tell type of place.

If you're game to lay down at least $500 for one night in a room at The Dorchester, you can perhaps chat with them yourself and see if they've got any great Michael Jackson or Dita Von Teese anecdotes, but we'd really rather have a doorman write a book full of blind gossip.

How cool would that be? Any doormen of famous 5-star hotels out there looking to put pen to paper? Call up Harper Collins or somebody and get to work; if our curiosity is piqued, then surely others will love salacious hotel stories just as much.
