It had to be Katie Price aka Jordan, the British version of Pamela Anderson with a bit of Britney in her crazy phase thrown in. The celebrity whose famous for being famous showed up at the esteemed Chateau Marmont last night to have dinner with some friends.

We must assume that the likes of Katie Price was only let into the hotel because Oscar weekend hadn't officially started. But now it has. We expect only top-notch, A-list celebs to be parading through this weekend.

But elsewhere in Los Angeles, other hotels are getting in on the Oscars action with viewing parties and signature cocktails. The Standard on Sunset has put together some cinematic cocktails such as the Pandoran Punch made with orange rum and blue curacao and the Mile High Club (attn: Clooney) made with French vanilla kahlua and patron coffee. (Both drinks are $12.)

But we're more intrigued by the event at the Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica. The hotel will be putting in flat-screen TVs around the lobby and setting up a Twitter steam during the show. Bartenders will be giving out free drinks to the Twitterers at the hotel that have the funniest comment or an on-point observation.

Some of the drinks you could Twitter for? The Avartini, a blue martini drink; The Inglorious Punch made with rum, grenadine and Grapefruit Juice and The Sweet and Precious, made with pear vodka, lillet and apple juice. The drinks are $9 and the bar will be serving other small menu items as well. Best of all, there's no entrance fee. Just pay for what you order a la carte.
