Keen on staying at the Standard New York this weekend? Want to get a nifty little discount AND pick-up some stylish duds for yourself that will make your friends jealous? Of course you do and here's how.

W magazine is hosting a one-day shopping extravaganza called Shop W Style on Saturday in the Meatpacking District from 10am to 6pm. Select stores in the area will be offering shoppers cocktails, little bites and most importantly, merchandise discounts.

You can check out all the offerings on the map and happenings link here but a few of the discounts we're digging are: 20 percent off Tory Burch (not her Reva ballerina shoes tho); 15 percent off Trina Turk full-priced merch; 15 percent off at Tracey Reese; 15 percent off Scoop NYC and 15 percent off Paige Denim.

Now that all sounds fab but how does the Standard Hotel play into this?

For starters, the Shop W Style Lounge will be held inside the hotel and guests who swing by can pick up a W gift bag (and a map to all the goodies that await inside the stores.) A stylist-on-demand will be available and you can sign up for a "Style Session" at Hugo Boss. You can also stop in to sign up for a W Fashion Forum event.

Additionally, the new Kate Moss for Longchamp line will be on display in the lounge and the first Tacori 18k925 jewelry collection will be open to shoppers. (The first fifteen W bauble buyers will also receive a Tacori Champagne Celebration Case with any purchase.)

We found rooms this weekend for $335 a night, before fees and taxes, so we suggest splitting the room with a friend. After all, that means more money for the clothes.
