It's so close we can smell it! Trump SoHo, that is. The long-awaited hotel on Varick and Spring Streets opens on April 9, and has been busy staffing up and primping for its big day. But what does it look like? During the day, it's just another glassed skyscraper in a part of town that's better known for lower-rising lofts with water towers on top. But at night? It starts to look a whole lot prettier...

Here's a snap of the hotel from two blocks south on Varick Street. The rooms have curtains, and it looks like there's furniture in them from what we could make out down on the street.

For a better sneak peek, thanks to the beauty of a lit-up building in the dark, click through our gallery. Here you'll see the dramatically-lit mezzanine level, a glimpse of what we think is the Bazaar Bar Lounge and some reflections of the storage facility across the street on the hotel's walls.

Stay tuned for more once we get through those doors in April!
