The Vue, the restaurant at Brooklyn's Hotel Le Bleu, may have only closed a couple of weeks ago but the hotel landlord is promising that a replacement will open soon. And shocker, it might be an Italian restaurant, a "classy Italian" one that is.

Domenic Tonacchio tells The Brooklyn Paper:

“The restaurant will be run by a prominent chef with experience in Bay Ridge and Lower Manhattan."

At this stage, we're not sure if the new restaurant will also include a bar or lounge—after all, the noise from the Vue lounge was what had neighbors up in arms in the first place. But we do hope the menu is better than the previous incarnation, which was described as "deeply dated" and "further compromised by excessive squeeze bottle embellishment" by The Village Voice.

Got any ideas who the "prominent chef" could be? Let us know in the comments!
