Holiday Inn Reaches 2,000 Hotels 'Relaunched,' But How Many More?

Not only is the huge Holiday Inn chain in the midst of renovating and "relaunching" their hotels, but they're also getting their act together to be the official hotels of the 2012 Olympics in London. For this reason, we're not super surprised that the honor of being Holiday Inn's 2,000th relaunched hotel goes to a UK property: the Holiday Inn Express at Edinburgh Waterfront.

It's a huge milestone for a such a small hotel, and now that the chain has reached 2,000, they're two-thirds of the way through the massive chain facelift, which began back in 2007.

A relaunched hotel, like the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Waterfront, or the chain's 1,000th relaunched hotel—Holiday Inn Times Square—means upgraded lobbies, renovated rooms with new bathrooms, new bedding, new lighting and exterior landscaping, the freshly re-designed logo and branding and a "Holiday Inn scent and sound."

So how many more Holiday Inns are there left to renovate and relaunch? Some 1,200 more, that's how many. By the time they eventually finish, they'll have spent over $1 billion dollars to make it all happen, and renovated over 430,000 rooms. Keep on plucking that chicken, Holiday Inn!

Quality not quantity?

The Holiday Inn chain is wildly popular and is still very warmly received, however, there is an increase in the number of feedback that relays Holiday Inn as an average and even a boring hotel to stay in.

If Holiday Inn wishes to be on top of the chain it has to work a lot harder than renovating lobbies and acquiring more branches; people are looking for experience now and the Holiday Inn experience is pretty mundane compared to what smaller boutique hotels in Edinburgh such as Tigerlily or Ricks has to offer for example.

Best place to stay

I`ve been working at Holiday Inn few years ago. It wasn`t dream job - I was housekeeper. And I want to prove that their service one of the best through all hotel chains I have ever seen. I think 1.2 K is not so big number. Now many term papers  public the statistics about them, so Holiday Inn should do the best. Hope their gonna be official sponsor of Olympic Games in London)

Best Hotel Chain in Europe.

In my opinion is one of the most surprising hotels in the world. In my season projects (empresa, limpa fossa, brindes personalizados, acompanhantes sp garotas) last year in UK was staying in a hotel the Holiday Inn chain and has been formidable. The quality of services, from housekeeping to the cook of the hotel is the best I have seen in Europe.

I'm going crazy from bad hotel service. If i'm not sure about hotel, i'd like to stay some place with "good name" international hotel. I know that term paper service never fails me. Thanks.
