Excuses, excuses. The 10-floor, 160-room hotel wants to get every single thing right because the Armani name is connected with it, they say. But then if Armani was concerned about their brand image, then they wouldn't have started the Armani Exchange brand (zing!). More likely, the Armani Hotel is delayed because everything about the Burj Khalifa seems to be delayed.
After the snafu with "electricity"ah hem, tourists got stuck in a high-speed elevator on its way to the top observation deckthe tourist portions of the building have been closed almost since they officially opened.
We just wonder how Armani Hotel is dealing with the rich and powerful guests who booked the first month's worth of rooms for at least $1,089 a night.
