How Do You Get Tickets to The Rose Bar Sessions? (The Answer is You Don't)

The Gramercy Park Hotel has never been shy about its elitist tendencies and for the most part, we're fine with that, especially if it means keeping out Paris Hilton and her 'ilk'." But this time around, we're having a little difficulty with the "only people who know people" rules.
That's because the hotel's Rose Bar is holding its second Rose Bar Sessions, a secret show for a "hand-picked crowd of 100," according to the NY Post. The first session was held last month and featured Guns n' Roses, which despite having grown up with a slight crush on Axl Rose*, we're totally fine with not having been in attendance at that concert.
But the Post is reporting that Rufus Wainwright will be performing for the second session. "Instant pleasure!"
The date for Rufus is top-secret (Update 3.16.10: it happened last night!) and again, the crowd is hand-picked. So despite the deluge of phone calls requesting seats, tickets, etc. the only people allowed in will have been approved by hotelier Ian Schrager himself.
But we're not so sure this list is as A-list as they want to make it sound. At the GNR show, Mickey Rourke, Josh Lucas, Ryan Phillippe and Sophia Bush were in attendance. Not even a Cruise or a Beckham in sight.
Still, we wouldn't mind seeing Rufus in person again. Yo Schrager! Send us an invite and we'll see if we can make it.
*That Axl Rose crush should not be held against us. We were 11 at the time.
