Is Andre Balazs Creating a TV Show About His Hotels and Guests? (We Hope So!)

Oh, we really hope Page Six is right with this one: the New York Post reports that Andre Balazs is in talks to create a TV show set behind the scenes at a hot hotel. While in Hollywood for the Oscars this past week, the celeb hotelier was apparently meeting with entertainment execs to discuss the concept for the scripted series.

Don’t expect a trashy reality show or sitcom, either—this being Andre, the show is expected to be a scripted drama, with a focus on the higher end of the business, and the wealthy guests known to frequent his hotels such as The Mercer, Chateau Marmont, and The Standard Hotels.

Celebs with strange hotel predilections may be shaking in their Jimmy Choo boots about being exposed in the show, but “a source” told Page Six they should have nothing to worry about:

"Andre is always discreet, so we would never know if any of the story lines are based on real events. But it will be fun watching the show and trying to guess."

Indeed it will! Who’s up for a bet that there’ll be a character inspired by Courtney Love, a regular at The Standard New York?

Andre is said to be working with Alek Keshishian on the show—he’s the guy who directed Madonna’s Truth or Dare, so we’re crossing our fingers now for a Madge and Jesus cameo once this show hits the air.

Heard anything about this show? Do share!
