A BLT burger at The Besty Hotel in Miami.
More bad news for the already thrice-delayed W New York Downtown which is now opening May 4.
The NYT is reporting today that the guys behind the successful BLT Restaurants--chef Laurent Tourondel and his business partner Jimmy Haber--have split up amicably with Haber taking control of the BLT Steak outposts in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, along with BLT Fish, BLT Prime and BLT Burger in New York.
LT will remain executive chef at all 10 BLT restaurants in hotels but there is no word yet on the BLT planned for the W Downtown. Eeek.
The last time we checked, the restaurant space had received a liquor license which sounded promising. Let's hope they can still stick a BLT in the W or else we will all be SOL. SMH. WTF? STFU. LOL.
