Print at Ink48 Is Now Serving Breakfast & Lunch

Midtown far west isn't exactly known for attracting foodies, especially right over on Eleventh Avenue. But that's what makes Print, the new restaurant at Ink48, such a welcome addition. Guests at the Kimpton hotel, next to the West Side Highway and the Hudson River, will no longer have to trek for blocks to find decent food. The restaurant is now serving breakfast and lunch, and dinner is set to begin next Monday.
The dining room looks much prettier than its printing-press name would suggest, and so far the menu looks straightforward and reasonably priced for a hotel. (The $9 Print Breakfast is a scrambled egg sandwich with local cheddar, bacon and arugula on seven grain toast.)
Like every other new restaurant in town, Print has an emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients.
Restaurateur Adam Block and chefs Charles Rodriguez and Heather Carlucci-Rodriguez will be serving up burgers made of grass-fed beef from Arcadian Pastures farm in Sloansville, New York, on bread from Upper East Side bakery Orwasher's. Butter and ice-cream will be made in-house.
If that's not enough to entice you all the way over to the west side, maybe the opening of the Press Lounge will. The glass-enclosed rooftop bar should be open in March.
