We’re so curious about this property—one of the first large luxury hotels in SoHo—and hope we have more concrete information soon.
Not long ago, there was special package info on the hotel’s website—a three-day golf retreat from $2,500 per person; a wine-pairing dinner option from $135 a person; and weddings from $330 per person—but this page has now mysteriously disappeared.
We can only imagine that the Trumps are being consummate perfectionists. GM David Chase told us that the restaurant, bar, and Taschen store in the lobby would all open at the same time as the hotel’s doors—no slow roll-out of services. So we guess once all of these ducks are in a row, we’ll be blessed with an opening date.
Still, we wouldn't be surprised if April 1 was the new date.
