Scary Skinny Hotel No Longer Has Scaffolding But is Still Anonymous

Question: If a hotel goes up in NYC and no one cares to even attempt to guess what hotel it is going to be, does this hotel even really matter? That's what we are starting to think about this hotel on 16 E. 46th Street.

Last week, we asked you folk if you had any clue what hotel this was going to be but no one commented. A persistent tipster sent us another photo showing that the scaffolding has been entirely removed from the hotel. But how can we even get excited about that when we have no idea what hotel this is going to be?

Once again, if you have any idea what hotel this is going to be--if it is even going to be a hotel--let us know in comments below. In the meantime, we'll continue to preoccupy ourselves with actual hotels in NYC.
