If you know any of us at HotelChatter, then you know what really gets our goat is when a hotel's Twitter feed is run by someone off property (and it's even worse if "off property" is really "out of state.") Well, you can rest assured that the folks behind the social media activities at The Roger Smith Hotel in NYC are definitely on property.

The hotel's director of social hospitality, Brian Simpson, and the hotel's media director, Adam Wallace, were pressing sheets earlier today as the hotel's housekeeping staff was unable to make it into work because of the snowstorm. Check out their excellent folding job here! (Also, it's a great video to learn how hotels get those sheets so tight and crisp!)

So, now you know: Roger Smith's Twitter feed is absolutely genuine. Let's hope more and more hotels can do this too.
