Lots of juicy hotel restaurant news this week! The latest comes out of the South Beach Food and Wine Festival taking place right now in Miami. It was announced that French chef and hotel lover Daniel Boulud will open a db Bistro Moderne in the upcoming JW Marriott Marquis Miami.

Located in downtown’s new Metropolitan Miami development, the JW Marriott Marquis Miami provides db Bistro Moderne with a vibrant, urban setting, where guests will enjoy great cooking in a relaxed yet beautifully distinctive environment. The restaurant’s interiors by renowned designers, Yabu Pushelberg, will feature a dining area with striking contemporary accents and soaring 18-foot ceilings, as well as a stylish bar and lounge, street-level terrace overlooking the Miami river and two private dining rooms accommodating up to 60 guests.

The restaurant will be a sister property to the db Bistro Moderne in New York inside the City Club Hotel. The JW Marriott Marquis is on track for a July opening so we hope DB Bistro Moderne opens then too.

If you don't want to wait, you can taste Boulud's creations at the Cafe Boulud in The Surrey Hotel in NYC; Cafe Boulud at The Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach; Daniel Boulud Brasserie at The Wynn Las Vegas and the upcoming Bar Boulud at the Mandarin Oriental London which should open this Spring.
