Hotel 1000 Will Roll Out the Red Carpet for Its Oscars Party
You may not have an invite to the Oscars this year, but you can still work it down a red carpet at Hotel 1000's big Academy Award bash, sponsored by Seattle Magazine, and have a photo op with a replica Oscar.
As part of the festivities, the Seattle hotel will show a live telecast of the March 7 awards ceremony on big-screen HD TVs. But there will be action off-screen, too, with live performances from Teatro ZinZanni, a local dinner-theater troupe that combines improv comedy, vaudeville, music, dance and cirque.
To make you feel like a VIP, when you arrive you'll get free valet parking and some Perrier-Jouët. The $65 ticket will also entitle you to two drinks and appetizers from the excellent in-house restaurant, BOKA Kitchen + Bar. And just like in Hollywood, you'll receive a swag bag at the end of the evening. Though, we're guessing it won't be as good as the one Sandra Bullock is getting.
If you want to keep the party going late into the night, rooms at the hotel are available that night starting at $179.
