The new hotel shares an owner with the restaurant, and rather than a traditional lobby, the ground floor of the Prime Hotel is essentially an extension of Prime 112—called The Prime Lounge.

Upstairs, there are just 14 rooms, many with balconies, and all with views of the ocean or of South Beach. We like the look of the white leather, accent walls, and wooden floors—but what’s up with those rugs that look like patches of grass? They remind us of those porta-potty patches you can buy from the SkyMall catalog for dogs who live in big-city condos.
Aside from this, the rooms seem slick enough for the Kardashians and their fans—LCD flatscreens, Blu-Ray players, Illy espresso makers, and floor-to-ceiling built-in mirrored wardrobes. In the bathrooms, there are rainfall showers, more LCD TVs, Egyptian cotton robes, and Malin & Goetz bath amenities.
The Prime also has a rooftop pool with cabanas and full bar and food service available. Guests will get guaranteed reservations at Prime 112 or any of the other Myles Group restaurants.
So far no rate information is available on the hotel's website, and our calls keep going through to the Prime 112 reservations line. We'll report back with an update on how much all this Kardashian-scoping will set you back soon.
