The Mark Hotel Offering to Get Your Hair Did at Frédéric Fekkai for Fashion Week
As we mentioned last week, finding a cheap and chic place to lay your head during New York Fashion Week is quite the challenge. This is true uptown at The Mark, too, although there you can snag a complimentary blowout and some other goodies to prep for the tents.
The Mark’s Frédéric Fekkai Fashion Week package includes one night's accommodation between February 12–19, a blowout at the hotel’s Frédéric Fekkai Salon, a $200 Carlisle Collection gift certificate, and a bespoke Carlisle Collection Scarf.
Rates start at $595 a night, so yes it’s pricey—but regular rates for the hotel start at $550, so you do save some cash when you add up the cost of the Fashion Week extras—a blowout starts at $65 at the salon, the scarf is around $125, and the gift certificate is, well, $200.
Just think twice before wearing your free scarf to the shows. The Mark is popular with models and fashion types and you want to avoid wearing the same thing as your seatmates in the tents. What would Anna think? Quelle horreur!
