Take That, Ace! The Standard New York Now Has Its Own Gift Shop

The Standard New York wasn't going to idly sit by and let the Ace Hotel steal its thunder with their hipstery Opening Ceremony and 8a stores. So, The Standard has struck back with its own gift shop which opened last Friday, leading Racked NY to fittingly declare the start of Gift Shop Wars.
Cool Hunting has the scoop on what's inside The Shop at The Standard:
Favorite brands (in addition to the expected magazines and sundries) like Wool and the Gang, Papabubble, Krink and Bambu cigarette papers together under their roof. The new boutique will also house Standard branded items and collaborations, including the graffiti-artist-designed city tees and a new limited-edition version of NYC artist Julia Chiang's porcelain apple sculpture.
Chiang also spelled out "ALL FOR YOU" using Ring Pops on one of the shop's wall. It's kind of amazeballs. No word on whether or not they sell the Standard's Biergarten t-shirts. We didn't see them in the Cool Hunting pics. But they really should!
Also, if you're staying at the Standard can you please email us a picture of yourself in a Standard t-shirt, smoking a cigarette, knitting a scarf and wearing ring pop on your finger? Thanks!
