Chateau Marmont: A Realistic Valentine's Day Hotel Option, But Just for Dinner

All this week we've been profiling some of the more outlandish ways to celebrate Valentine's Day but the truth is, none of us have the cash to do anything remotely fancy like that. So we're looking for style on a budget and we're thinking Bar Marmont at The Chateau Marmont.

This weekend, the bar has introduced a special Valentine's Day menu that includes: half a dozen oysters with champagne as an appetizer, brown butter roasted bass, and a selection of desserts for $65 per person.

Since this is Bar Marmont, we had to wonder what sort of cocktail concoctions they would be creating for this holiday of love. As it turns out, the bar will be serving up the Peruvian Rose Cocktail made with pisco, lime, simple syrup, a splash of rosewater, and splash of cranberry.

Need something a little more substantial for your special night? The regular menu at the bar will also be available including the popular, Damn Good Burger. Just make sure that you have a DD for the evening--be it one of you or a cab--as the hotel is completely sold-out this weekend.
