While the fate of the Hotel Pennsylvania is still up in the air, all systems are a go for the Annual Westminster Dog show at Madison Square Garden. Dogs began arriving at the Hotel Penn, the show's host hotel, over the weekend. This year, a doggie spa was created to pamper the stressed-out pooches before and after the show.

We love this picture of the dogs and their owners checking into the hotel. Let's hope they didn't have to wait in line too long.

Here's what else is going on in the hotel world:

· Oscar Noms Descend on Beverly Hilton: The annual luncheon for Oscar noms is in full-swing at The Beverly Hilton. Care to watch? SF Gate has a live-stream just for you. [SF Gate]

· W Hoboken Hosting Haiti Fundraiser: Party with Purpose, a Hoboken-based non-profit organization is holding a fundraiser for Haiti for this Thursday in the Chandelier Room at the W Hoboken. Price of admission is $100 per person and drinks and beer are included. Buy tickets here. [NJ.com]

· The Standards Joins Design Hotels: DesignHotels has another notch on their fashionable belt--Standard Hotels. The Andre Balazs properties in New York, Los Angeles and Miami are now a part of the DesignHotels portfolio and their ongoing promotions. [HotelWorldNetwork]

· Hotel Sick Strikes a Hilton Garden Inn in New Hampshire: Eleven people fell ill after carbon monoxide levels were too high in the hotel. Ugh. [AP]
