The Andaz San Diego Makes Its Debut Today

Does this pool look sexier now that it's been Andaz'd?
The Andaz is racking up as many hotels as Beyoncé is Grammys. Today the boutique brand counts No. 4 as the Ivy Hotel officially converts over to the Andaz San Diego. But this Andaz opening won't be as big as the Wall Street hotel's last month.
Guests won't see many changes in the new Andaz San Diego. The hotel is keeping the names of the Ivy Rooftop lounge and Ivy Wine Bar. Though the hotel's club, Envy, is now christened Ivy Nightclub. There haven't been any reports on changes to the hotel's American restaurant, Quarter Kitchen. And no renovations for the 159-room, 17-suite hotel have been announced; it was last overhauled in 2007.
One change that since Andaz is a Hyatt brand, you can redeem Hyatt Gold Passport points here. A new amenity is the Andaz e-host service, where you can make dinner reservations, spa appointments and more online and a personal concierge will help you.
The Andaz San Diego website is up and taking reservations. Rooms start at $160.65 a night.
