Tragedy has struck the Soho House in New York today as a woman was found dead in one of the private club's hotel rooms. NY Daily News reports:

According to police, the 33-year-old woman's body was found about 3 a.m. after the bath water, which was still running, flooded the tub and leaked down into the room below.

When cops arrived at the Ninth Ave. hotel, the unidentified woman was unconscious. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. Detectives are investigating whether she was the victim of foul play, but a police source said her body showed no obvious signs of trauma.

The NY Post is also reporting that Nicholas Brooks, 24 and son of "You Light Up My Life" composer Joseph Brooks, was being questioned police today as he was the one who checked into the hotel with the woman yesterday. The Post also reports the woman was dressed as she lay in the bathtub with the water running. She has not been identified.

The Soho House prides itself on not only being an ultra-private hideaway in the city (provided that Cristiano Ronaldo is not there) but also for its coveted hotel rooms which are called "Playrooms." There's only 24 of them which makes availability hard to come by, that is if you can afford the average $600 room rate.

And all rooms come with a signature egg-shaped bath "large enough for two." Sad.
