We've also been checking out the new iPad apps that hotels have put forth. While most of them have followed the same disappointing path as hotel iPhone apps, we were greatly encouraged by the InterContinental's new iPad app which offered tons of info and even video for hotel guests and non-hotel guests alike.
While the in-room iPads are still not allowing us to do all that we'd like to do--basically, we'd like to treat it like our own iPad during our stay, complete with fun apps, movies, books, newspapers, unlimited browsing, etc--we're definitely excited to see more iPads in hotels in the future.
And yes, we're eagerly anticipating the day when hotels start using the second generation iPads, you know, the ones with the camera in them?
