There are only three days left until Christmas but the London Hotel Scene hasn’t stopped for the holidays (or the snowstorms.) In fact, the opening race is still going at full speed with our findings that three more hotels are set to open.

East London hotspot, Dalston, is getting its first hotel--well, its first hotel we’d want to stay in. Avo Hotel will be a “boutique chic hotel” in one of London’s hippest areas, so hip that Dalston was named by Italian Vogue as the "Coolest Place in Britain."

The new hotel is set to open in February 2011, just in time for Valentine’s day. But good luck getting a rezzie. The hotel will have only six rooms stocked with amenities like chocolates, plush slippers and robes, along with “a sexy café in the lobby” and a penthouse suite upstairs.

We heard that room rates start at £79 with 5% off bookings made at least four weeks in advance but the website won't be up and running until next week. In the meantime you can check out the hotel's, Twitter feed for updates.

Earlier this month we told you about the new Mint Hotel opening on Dec 20th. No sooner had the hotel opened its doors than a neighbouring hotel announced its arrival.

The new luxury hotel will be located in the Grade II listed old Port of London authority HQ, at number 10 Trinity Square. It will be open in time for the 2012 Olympics – no surprise there--and will have penthouse suites with views over the Thames. There is no website or name yet but when we do have it you’ll be the first to know.

Not one to be left out Hilton Hotels have announced plans to open a 281 room hotel in Southwark. The Hilton London Southbank will open late 2012, and will be located near to the London Eye and Tate Modern. And that's all we got...for now.
