The Swanky Setai in South Beach Gets in On the Food Truck Craze

Thanks to a wave of hip chefs looking for an easier way to serve up their gourmet goods without signing a big lease on a storefront somewhere, Food Trucks have risen out of the Roach Coach shadows and into the mainstream foodie limelight.
So it makes perfectly good sense that hotels would want a piece of this action too and the first one to do it is The Setai in South Beach who has just launched their own Beach Trailer.
The food truck opened yesterday featuring Chef David Werly's menu of savory lunch options such as sandwiches and salads along with a few dessert options as well. Some of the food you can order off the "truck"
Signature dishes include the Setai Ceviche, Wagyu Hot Dog, Open Face Salmon Burger, and The Setai Burger and can be accompanied by a specialty drink, wine, or champagne. Chef’s Specials are also offered featuring fresh Sushi daily.
The Beach Trailer is open from 11:30am to 5pm but over the holidays--December 24-January 2--the trailer will be serving a light breakfast from 9:30am to 11:30am daily. We've got a tweet into the Setai for some pics of the Beach Trailer but if you happen to be there, send us a snapshot instead!
Meanwhile, if you're looking to stay at the Setai this Christmas, rates for a studio city suite at the hotel this week start at $695.
