You may have already virtually stepped into the rooms and suites of The Peninsula Hong Kong, but just wait—we've got pics of the heliport, the legendary historical lobby, Chesa (the Swiss Restaurant), and even the special kitchen table of Gaddi's Restaurant.

In effect, these are the extras from our tour of the Peninsula HK, the rest of the hotel through most of its public spaces, and not-so-public spaces, as you'll see with the China Clipper helicopter departures lounge....

Even after doing these last couple stories on the property, we're slightly tongue-tied as to how to describe the place best. There are just too many details we're afraid to overlook, such as the fact that the aforementioned helicopter departure lounge has a custom Rolex world time clock, or that the special kitchen table at Gaddi's seats only up to four diners, who then eat whatever happen to be the freshest offering under the chef's knife that night.

The Peninsula rightly deserves its place on many travelers' bucket list, and those who've stayed long enough to appreciate the unique touches—where everything, including the control panels and valet boxes, is custom-designed by The Peninsula's own team in Hong Kong—are the luckiest of all.
