In other Plaza news, as the hotel is still recovering from the damage left behind from Charlie Sheen, we're happy to hear that the hotel will not have a fitness center run by Jersey Shore's The Situation. Eloise can now go back to drawing on the walls in peace.

Now that the Rose Bar at Gramercy Park has shuttered their secret, invite-only music sessions, The Plaza is at the ready to fill in the gap on the elite NYC music scene with their new Artist in Residence series in the hotel's famed Oak Room. (Perhaps they were inspired by Lady Gaga's impromptu performance?)
The first artist on the schedule is Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of Billy and Christie Brinkley. The NY Post reports that her debut tonight is completely sold-out and that a "very special guest" is set to attend (we're gonna go with Billy.)
Alexa will also be performing on December 27, January 3 and January 10. The shows start at 9:30pm with dinner available at 8pm. Tickets cost $100 a piece and can be purchased by calling 212-758-7777.
