It turns out there is a new permanent resident at the five star Hotel Le Bristol. His name is Fa-raon, he’s from Burma, and he’s white and fluffy and not even one year old yet. He is indeed le chat, yes that is the French for cat.

From his photo we can tell he will fit right in with the hotel's glamorous interiors, he is the ultimate glamour puss. We aren’t sure about the luminous green collar though; perhaps Fa-raon would have preferred a more classic black?

We have been told the feline is happy to join in daily hotel life, whether it’s reading a novel in the hotel bar or sipping a glass of wine in the courtyard garden. He's always in the thick of it. Let’s just hope the barman knows he’s underage.

If you fancy meeting the fabulous Fa-roan a superior room at Le Bristol will set you back 770 euros (approx $1,000). Fancy feast indeed.
