So the countdown is over – the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas opens today! Our sister website Vegaschatter is on the ground and has the scoop on what it’s looking like – follow their Twitter for live tweeting of the opening party tonight, where Brandon Flowers will perform, and go here for in depth coverage of the opening. Today, we’re giving an overview of our thoughts on the property – from the loyalty program and parking to food and drink and the rooms themselves (coming any minute now, we promise).

VegasChatter will be on Cosmo overload for the next few days, and first impressions are looking good – so make sure you pop by and take a look at how things are going down.

And FYI, there are rates of $135 next week and in January still. Not bad.

Was just on their Marriott Autograph website and it looks like this hotel will have free wi-fi, a Las Vegas Xmas miracle!
