Hotel Del Coronado

The weather is getting chilly—and downright freezing in some parts—which means that hotels are rolling out one of our favorite wintertime amenities, ice rinks. Hitting the ice just makes it feel like the holidays, and you have your pick of hotel rinks across the country where you can lace up and work on your figure eight.

Check out five hotel ice rinks after the jump.

· Barton Creek Resort & Spa
Everything is bigger in Texas, and this hotel rink is no exception. At 3,800 square feet, it's the largest outdoor ice rink in Austin. The hotel offers two bunk-and-skate packages: Hill Country Tidings starts at $99 and includes breakfast, a $25 retail voucher and a skating session; Jingle All the Way begins at $150 and includes a round of golf, breakfast, the same voucher and a skating session. Otherwise, you have to pay $18 to $20 to use the rink. It's open through January 2.

· St. Regis Atlanta
Glide around on this outdoor ice rink, in the St. Regis' Grand Terrace above the pool area, through January 3. You'll have to plunk down a hefty $30 for a session, unless you partake in the Indulge in Holiday Traditions package, which gets you a room along with complimentary valet and an hour on the ice starting at $350 a night.

· The Charles Hotel
Boston's Cambridge neighborhood provides the perfect setting for a wintry wonderland. Brave the cold and check out the 2,900-square-foot rink when it opens December 19 with complimentary skating for the day. Olympic ice dancer Loren Rabinowitz and the Harvard Figure Skating Club will be there to show you up. Afterward, warm up with some chowder from Legal Sea Foods. If you can't make it to the opening, you can go for the he Winter Skateaway package, which includes a room, complimentary valet, breakfast in bed or breakfast for two in the hotel restaurant and skating and rentals for two. The package starts at $259 per room.

· Hotel Del Coronado
At the Hotel Del, you can ice skate SoCal style: on the beach. If you want to skate under the palm trees with a view of the Pacific Ocean, it'll cost you $15 to $20 per session. Or you can stay the night with the Free Skating by the Sea package, which includes a room, four sessions on the ice and skate rental. The deal is available starting at $215 a night. The rink will be up through January 2.

· W Los Angeles Westwood
This marks the second year that the W has converted its pool deck into CHILL, a.k.a. the ice rink. The 1,300-square-foot rink is made with an environmentally friendly ice hybrid. You can get a workout on the ice through January 2 for $10. Or opt for the Ice Skate, You Skate, We All Skate! package, which entitles you to a room, a skating session for two and two cocktails. The package starts at $259.
