Also opening their first London hotel is UK hotel chain, Oxford Hotels & Inns. Set to open in Kings Cross, the hotel which will count the new St Pancras Renaissance hotel as its neighbour. The grade II 19th Century listed building which previously housed the Great Northern Hotel will be transformed into a boutique luxury hotel with 94 rooms, a bar and restaurant.
The hotel is set to open late 2011, lets just hope they don’t have to put back the opening date as they will be cutting it fine for the Olympics.
Not content with opening one hotel the Accor Hotels have gone one better and will open two new hotels. And what's more the hotels will be opposite each other. The four-star Novotel will have 182 rooms and the budget Ibis will have 297 rooms, both hotels will be located in Blackfriars and will open in time for the Olympics.
Not that we're keeping a running count or anything but with this new batch, that makes it about 23 upcoming London hotels you should know about. We'd amend the list right now but um, given that these new hotel announcements keep coming, we'll wait a bit longer. In the meantime, tip us off if you hear of any more!
