The Danieli conveniently sits along the Grand Canal next to The Bridge of Sighs and San Marco Square. The majestic-looking hotel is made up of three palaces that date back to the 14th century and are decked out with Murano glass chandeliers, pink marble columns, antique carpets, and gilded ceilings. Sounds like a perfect place for a romantic romp between Angie and Johnny.
We checked TripAdvisor to see if it is indeed the perfect spot for a steamy scene. It looks like it checks out:
Very Romantic. My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon and it was great. We would stay at this hotel again!
One reviewer says that the room was nice but not exceptional, but the consensus is that the building itself is beautiful, it has a great waterside location (killer view alert!) and the restaurant and bars were too expensive.
If you want to do your own Tourist tour and stay at the hotel, rates start at 270 euros a night, or about $355.
