Tune Hotels Has Its Next Two London Locations Already Tuned Up
Back in March we brought you news that Tune Hotels were planning to take over the world or well, at least the UK with 15 hotels planned for London alone by 2017. And from what we hear it would seem the take over has already begun.
We heard it from the horse’s mouth, aka Naushad Jivraj, who owns the franchise for the group in London and he has confirmed that the next two sites have been secured.
The second Tune Hotel to open will be located in Liverpool Street, one of the busiest transport hubs in East London and an ideal location for the 2012 Olympics. The hotel will have 180 rooms and is due to open sometime next year.
The third hotel will be located in Kings Cross, another key transport hub in London. The hotel will have 400 rooms and is also due to open in 2012. Both hotels will work on the same “no frills” concept of Tune Hotels but the rooms will be slightly bigger than those at the Tune Hotel Westminster. This could be a response to the reviews from people who felt the rooms were a little too small.
And it’s not only new hotels their plotting, they are also planning to expand the original London hotel, adding an extra 30 rooms to Tune Hotel Westminster. Stay "Tuned" for more Tune news in the future.
