The edges of Eccleston Square

The other day we continued chronicling the en fuego London Hotel Scene with the news that the Zetter Townhouse Hotel would be opening across from the original Zetter Hotel in May. Well, no sooner had we received this news, another one of our spies across the pond sent word of yet another new hotel opening in London.

This time it’s the Eccleston Square Hotel in Pimlico. The hotel will have 40 bedrooms all with uber comfy (and uber expensive) £12,000 Hasten beds from Sweden, a restaurant and bar.

But what really will make this hotel hot is the in room technology.

Each room will be equipped with 46" 3D LED TVs, 3D Blue Ray DVD Players, HD Movie and 3D Channels, Apple TV iPod Docks, Super fast WiFi worldwide and VOIP calls at VOIP cost. Phew!

It will have the most advanced in room Technology of any hotel in London, but will this be enough to get it listed in our Best Geek Hotels in The World? We’ll have to wait and see.

As for the opening date, that's been set for May as well. Other than that, we don't have much else to go on as there's no website. Stay tuned, we’ll give you more news as we get it...
