A Stay at 51 Buckingham Gate Now Includes Off Roading

What do you think of when you hear the word "Buckingham"? OK, yeah. Wills and Kate. But we're not talking Buckingham Palace--we mean 51 Buckingham Gate, the Taj Hotel that's not too far from the royal's HQ.

Even still, the word "Land Rover" is not one we'd usually associate with such a posh property. But off-roading is now on tap at 51 Buckingham, with the hotel's Land Rover at 51 Package.

If you're feeling claustrophobic in London, this could be just what the doctor ordered. Guests who book this deal are taken on a drive to Eastnor Castle, a thoroughly English spread where Land Rover has its own test track full of steep hills, puddles and mud to fly through.

Upon arrival, guests will have tea with the Land Rover team and then head out onto the track in their Land Rover of choice. (Apparently, you should watch out for pheasants.) Lunch is served before some more time spent zooming around in the mud. Then, at 3:30 p.m. guests return to the butler-serviced comfort of 51 Buckingham Gate.
