Gluckstein says he was inspired by the resort's oceanfront setting--thus lots of seafoam, seaglass and seashell colors in the new furnishings and fixtures--and also wanted to create a more residential feel for the rooms.
"Guests of Four Seasons Palm Beach think of it as their home and my objective was to bring an elegant beach house aesthetic to the rooms,” he says.
The redesign will be complete by Christmas, which is a busy time for the hotel. Annual holiday festivities lean heavily towards kid-friendly things like gingerbread houses, glitter tattoos and a 30-foot banana split.
Let's hope no one spills it on the fancy new bedding!
Rates over Christmas are around $649 a night.
