But they could just be worth the wait. Dream Downtown is set to have a private screening room, and, like Dream South Beach, it will also have a rooftop pool and lounge, a full-service spa, and brand new restaurant "concepts".
Downtown's restaurant will be called MSR, after chef Miguel Sánchez Romera (although Geoffrey Zakarian is also on board), while Dream South Beach will honor the building it's taken over by calling its restaurant The Tudor. It, too, will be helmed by Zakarian.
Upstairs at Dream South Beach, the rooftop lounge will be called Groovedeck, and will have gold-and-white, '70s-inspired decor, with a nod to Halston and Chanel ads from the era. Zakarian is also working on the food for the space, along with NYC nightlife dudes Jeffrey Jah, Will Regan and David Rabin.
