Located at 13th Street and 4th Avenue makes this just 'Union Square' to us, but we suppose 'Greenwich Village' sounds good when showing off to investors or something.
Hyatt and Hersha's long-term franchise agreements for these two new builds strengthens Hyatt's strategy to hit all markets, joining stablemates like newbies Andaz Wall Street and Andaz 5th Avenue, and the just-refreshed Grand Hyatt New York.
Apart from the great location, here's all we know about the 'design-forward' new Hyatt so far:
The hotel will offer stunning accommodations to its guests, including private terraces on the second floor, a well-appointed fitness center and an exclusive rooftop lounge. The historic façade and 23 foot ceilings in the lobby will create a grand space for the stylish lounge opening up to 13th Street and a restaurant concept inspired by the local and organic Greenmarket.
Promising! Of course, the next step will be to give the new hotel a name. Anyone wanna take a stab at what Hyatt will call its new baby?
