There's another new hotel in Shanghai, and this one is part of the Design Hotels portfolio, so you know that it'll be filled with creative interior flourished here, there and everywhere.

The PuLi Hotel, which opened less than a year ago, calls itself an "urban resort," but what exactly does that mean? For one, it means nightly rates of $500 and up! For another thing, it means a destination restaurant and bar, specifically their Long Bag.

Long Bar is exactly what the name promises; at 105-feet long, it's the longest bar in Shanghai. It also boasts one of the city's “'longest' wine and Champagne selections by the glass." If you're staying in one of the $500+ rooms the night you drop to check out the longest bar in the city, surely you won't think twice before adding a few glasses to your bill. And the PuLi loves the sounds of that.

The hotel itself is 26 floors and 229 rooms with Bose sound systems, rainfall showers, Nespresso coffee makers and bathtub views of JingAn park next door. Oh, and we can't forget one of the most important distinctions: it has free WiFi.
